Finasteride (Proscar or Propecia) is a medication used in dogs to restore infertility issues caused by benign prostatic hypertrophy (an enlargement of the prostate gland caused by hormones) and treat the general clinical signs associated with it.
Finasteride is a hormone antagonist which stops testosterone from being converted to dihydrotestosterone, the hormone that stimulates prostate growth. Thanks for your post and for your information. Ive been on Finasteride for a while now. It worked wonders for me. And I think it is great that you are taking the treatment so far.
So Ive been on Finasteride (finasteride) for a few months now. Ive been using the Finasteride for 5 years now. Ive been doing well. Ive been on a 5 year prescription. Ive been taking 1 mg per day for 5 years and have been doing fine. Ive been on it for about 5 months. Ive been on it for 1 year. Ive been on it for about 4 months.
